That is my big announcement and what I've been so busy getting ready for this past week. For the past few years my husband and I have been casually looking for a house near my daughters school. Now that the kids are getting bigger the idea of getting our house ready to sell doesn't seem so daunting and we decided to start seriously looking. We've been through many houses over the years coming across only one a few years ago that really met our criteria (we are very picky). We passed up the opportunity because we just weren't ready to take the plunge and we had certain family members that were not supportive. Now that we've finally come across the next best thing we made an offer and hope to move by the end of July. But if it doesn't work out that way it wasn't meant to and my current house will be really really clean!!!
Anyhow, the moving postcard was meant for the Etsy Inspired Challenge with the inspirational store being Isabell's Umbrella. The owner's goal is to renew the lost art of written correspondence by creating fun stationary to share. My goal was to create a one layer announcement that I could fill in and send out in the mail. As will probably be the case in the future, I'm late in posting this but still thought I would share with my friends.
Hope you are all having a fabulous week. And I hope to share my favourite room in my house with you on Sunday. Take care friends.
YAY!! Hope everything works out smoothly Laural-Lee!!! What a beautiful stationary you have created!! LOVE that postcard and the fun colors!! Sending you big hugs,

What a fun combination of digital and hand stamped! Nice bright colors. Hope everything will work out the way you want it too!
ReplyDeleteLove your cheery post card! Good luck on buying and selling the house (I always like the move, just not the house-selling part....heehee). Sounds like you have made the right "move"!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love it, Laurel :) I am praying for everything to go smoothly and quickly ;) Best Wishes my friend.
ReplyDeletecongrats on the new house!! How exciting :) And here's hoping yours sells quickly. this would be the perfect change of address card...I'll look for mine in the summer :)
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed it all works out well! Great idea, Laural!!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! Are you still going to be in Kamloops? The packing for a move sucks at times but the joy of a new home more than makes up for it!! NO worries about the card delay! I can FULLY understand as my last week has been insane with having to make 300 Mother's Day cards for stores!! Have a fabulous Mother's Day yourself and can't wait to get more details on the new digs :D Maybe even a picture for us to look at??!
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous! I love the bright colors of it, and that it's one layer. I'll be praying that the new place works out for you and your family.
