Good Morning! Just a quick post today to share with you the little gifts my daughter will be giving her classmates for Halloween. I prefer giving pencils over candy because I figure the kids will be getting enough of that on Saturday. I made 2 1/4 tags and used my favourite Carved and Candlelit stamp set (retired) and sentiment from my new but well used Grateful Greetings set. I used inexpensive scraps and white paper. I glued black tabs around the pencil first and then glued that tab between the two layers of the tag. It took me about an hour and a bit to make 17 of them....while I was surfing ebay. So what do you think? I'm sure kids would rather have candy but I think parents (and teachers) will be grateful for something different.

Sweet Snow Swirls
Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is have a fabulous week. Mine is busy as usual but I'm managing to get some sleep :-) Life is better when I'm getting sleep....my husband would probably agree. LOL.
Thanks for looking and have a super fabulous day!
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Real Red, Wishper white, I Wish dp
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive
Accessories: Floss, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punch, dazzling diamonds, Heat and Stick powder
Stamps: Snow Swirled
Here's my take on Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. There are so many challenges out there that I have a hard time keeping track of them all. With limited time I've had to really assess which challenges I want to participate and I usually go for the ones that inspire me the most. Karen's tend to do that every week! With my card I was surprised that I didn't use any ribbon or bling! Just some dazzling diamonds on the snowflake, a few french knots, and some pretty dp. What do you think of the french knots on the tree? Better than bling? I added a couple strands of gold metallic floss to detract from the fact that my pink/red floss wasn't a true red? I guess I could have put some ribbon on the second panel but I always worry about over doing it.

Two For One Holidays
Good Afternoon! Hope you are having a Marvelous Monday and that you had a fantastic weekend. I spent mine with my Mom and Sister. And it was relatively relaxing since I only brought two of my three kids with me. There is quite a noise level difference between two and three kids...at least that's what I've found.
Anyhow, I have two cards to share with you. The first is for the Card Patterns Sketch #37 introduced to me by Allison at Stampin' When I Can . It was a great way to show off the fabulous dp and matching cardstock stickers and I'm sure you're familiar with this collection. The only thing SU! in this card is the Kraft cs.Now from the same piece of 8.5 x 11 Kraft I had a piece left over that made a very nice 4.25 x 5 card inspired by Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #44. I'm not really happy with the final product but it was worth a try. I used the same dp collection and stickers plus I added some ribbon and bling. SU! supplies include the ticket corner punch, Ruby Red ink, Ridinghood Red cs, and the sentiment is from the Snow Swirled stamp set. At the very least I have another Christmas card completed for family and friends.
Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look. I'm so glad that you do. Have a wonderful week! Cheers!
