In Your Heart Forever

Well here's my entry for the third Verve Beach Party sketch challenge.  I saw the sketch I thought the Hundred Hearts set would work really well.  It has some big verses and lovely heart images.  Add in some paper folding and paper piercing, some sponging and bling and you have one sweet card.  I used Soft Suede to soften the edges

Hope you are all having a wonderful Wednesday.  This is a busy day for me.  I have to take my daughter to the doctor first thing this morning (nothing life threatening), then she has her music class this afternoon and her school spring drama production.  They are doing a version of Sleeping Beauty and my daughter is super excited since it's one of her favourite fairy tales, right up there with Cinderella.

Anyhow that's it for now.  I've included a few angles to look at.  I'll be back later this afternoon with another project made with You're Dandy from Practicing Creativity.

Paper: Very Vanilla, Cupid (Pink Paislee), Love Bandit (BoBunny)
Ink:  Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, Soft Suede
Accessories: Rhinestones, dimensionals
Stamps: Hundred Hearts (Verve)

  1. love the pleating and sponging...fabulous colour combo...did I thank-you for dropping the ribbon off along with the card? I know I went on about not dissing it...LOL...thanks again :)

  2. The layers are fantastic, the patterns amazing, and the pleating-great touch! This card gives off such a homestyle and heartfelt vibe.

  3. Okay foldy-roo - that's awesome! Love those soft edge effects. I need to get my hands on that color...and more of those new ones! Great card, Laural!

  4. Love the pleating you did on this and that sentiment with the heart on it is perfect :D You are almost done the challenges - yeah!!

  5. This is super fun, Laural!! Great folding ;)
