  1. Thanks for this chance at a GREAT give away. My favorite cant live without item has to be "PAPER". I cannot get enough of it. I dont need a reason to buy it,,,I like it,,,I bye it. It is VERY bad !!! My family tells me I could stop buying paper today and still have enough for the rest of my life. My advice to a new scrapper, start small. You do not need to buy every item out there. Buy as you need it. Hope this answer's your questions.

  2. Hi Laural... I cannot live without my Magnolia's and my chalks to colour them! And my advice to newbies - discount stores, make-your-own and blog-land. So much inspiration, interperet what you like and make possible to make your own.
Thanks for the chance to win some delicious paper!!

  3. Wow! What fantastic candy!! I have several "can't live without" items...cuttlebug or Bigshot for embossing/die cutting; sewing machine, ribbon, buttons and quality paper (Papertrey Ink/Stampin' Up!). Advise for newbies? I agree with Loz, check out blogs and just go for it!! Also, as I did when I started out, I asked an expert about which ink colours to start with...oh, and kraft is the best neutral!! Along with hot pink!!! LOL

  4. I just discovered your card over on Card Patterns -- you do such lovely work! My Cuttlebug is the tool I use most often, for diecuts and embossing. Love it! And paper is what I can never have enough of -- I'm addicted!
What a nice blog you have and what tremendous candy you're offering. Fun!

  5. Love your Blog and a chance to win candy....
    1. My Cricut- I love it...
    2. There is no right or wrong way to do anything. Just let your imiagination take over. Get what you need when you need.
    Thank you again.

  6. Hi! Brand new follower here. Thanks for doing such a fantastic giveaway =) I think the tool I couldn't live without would be my scissors. I'm still new to this crafting thing so I don't have all the fancy tools that some people have. I also seem to put glitter on everything so that would be a product I couldn't live without. Since i'm still a newbie, I would say creativity and inspiration is really all you need when starting out (plus your basic supplies of course lol). I really didn't know that you could do so much with paper and stamps. Keep up the great work!!!

  7. Wow, Laural-Lee! What a generous give-away! For me it would be ribbon (after paper, paper cutter etc.) I just love adding ribbon to my creations. As far as advice goes, pick a stamp and then pick some designer paper and some coordinating cardstock, then just start playing around. It's fun to look at other people's blogs, too, to get some good ideas. This includes yours, Laural-Lee1

  8. Hi there! Your Christmas card for Card Patterns is super cute! There are a couple things that I can't live without; pattern paper and ribbons. Thanks for the chance to win.

  9. Hi Laurel...

My favorite tools are punches at the moment. I have discovered some fantasic ones. As far as colors, I love the deep, rich colors of fall. Advise for newbies, take advantage of all the experience, advise and eye candy in the blogasphere. Lots of inspiration for everyone... Ruth

  10. Holy guacamole! What a fabulous bunch of goodies! Your card is fabulous - the deer is too darn sweet. I don't think I could manage without my cuttlebug and nestabilities! They're a total lifeline for me. As for advice.....prepare to spend! LOL (And realize that they're just too many challenges out there to participate in EVERYTHING!) HAHA

  11. 1 - I love working with bright, primary colors.
2 - And as to new scrappers my advice is don't be afraid to try new things.

  12. Thanks for a chance to win blog candy. Well, in answering your questions:

    1. I love working with real red CS - it's my favorite color.
    2. DP: it adds so much to cards, and scrapbook pages - it's a must to have on hand. My favorite right now are all the Christmas packages because I make alot of Xmas cards and sell them.

  15. Hello Laura!

Wow! i'm so happy I just discovered your lovely blog!
Your candy is soooo yummy! Someone, somewhere will be very happy with it...I can only dream it's me! :)
*I love to work with cute stamps... can't miss them! :)
*Good advice... just go on and do what you love to do... follow your own mind!!

    sweet greetings,
    Saskia :)

  16. Thank you for a wonderful chance to win some goodies!! Couldn't live without my Cuttlebug for embossing and for my Nesties. Also love my paper cutter (guillotine style) and punches, and would not live long with out ribbon and brads/half pearls. Advice for the novice stamper: sketch challenges are a wonderful way to get going on a card, check out blogs, SCS etc. for inspiration and ideas and when you are in a rut, CASE a card to get you going.

  17. 1. There's nothing like a pack of coordinating pretty paper!! I love paper! Oh, and I could not live without a GOOD paper trimmer (purple cow).

    2. The best thing about paper crafting/stamping is there's no wrong way to create. Don't be afraid to be yourself and have FUN!!!

  18. Such a fun blog and such pretty, pretty paper goodies. You are a fantastic inspiration all around.
