I just finished making this card for the Card Patterns Sketch #55 using my new goodies from Practicing Creativity. This card took way longer to finish than I was anticipating as I had too many fun options and colour combinations that I could use!

This card will be perfect for a friend of mine that is going through of a bit of a rough patch. I think she just needs to be reminded that she has friends.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic weekend.
Paper: Kraft, Kiwi Kiss, Blue Bayou, Early Bird dp (Cosmo)
Ink: Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Real Red

ReplyDeleteGlad you could relate to my little story about my hubby and the card I shared on my blog. Thanks for stopping by and making me smile with your comments. ;)
What a combo of stamp and paper...you rocked this creation!
ReplyDeleteFirst, this card is amazing, and as a reader, I can really appreciate the time you spent making it. The paper piecing is perfect for this balloon and your choice of patterned papers really are grand for this scene! I wouldn't have thought about the sentiment, I guess only the creator really knows what was in her head that didn't make it to paper. Second, I think your friend will adore you for thinking of her enough to send this card to her. Lastly, thanks for your comments, I'm off to take a few minutes to check your latest creations out!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card, love the colours! I have those papers still sitting unused!!
