Don't You Know?....You're Dandy

Well lucky for me my order from Practicing Creativity arrived on Monday....just in time to get my mojo running again.

Right now I'm just focusing on getting those Verve challenges done and the PTI blog hop is happening soon too. Only two more days and I do have to make 6 cards and I'm only half done. For tthis very subtle and sweet card, I used the fourth Verve Beach Party Sketch challenge.  Isn't it Dandy?  I wonder where that saying came from?  Better question is when?  Anyone have any ideas?

Anyhow, I really don't have anything interesting to tell you today.  Am I boring or what?  Oh well, if you you have been entertained hopefully you've been inspired.  Please scroll down to see my latest...this is my third post in 24 hours.

Paper: Very Vanilla, Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi, retired dp (SU!)
Ink: Going Gray craft
Accessories: Tab punch (SU!), pearls, Scallop border punch (SU!), Wild Wasabi ribbon, Fiskars shape cutter, clear embossing powder.
Stamps:  You're Dandy (Practicing Creativity Designs)

  1. Not boring at all - very inspiring =) I really love that dandelion - although you'd never catch me saying that about a real one, the stamped kind are pretty. Good use of the delicate dots paper....and by the way....YOU'RE DANDY!

  4. Laural-Lee, this card is Adorable!
I actually just received this same set in the mail yesterday! However, I haven't gotten around to using it yet. But hopefully I will this weekend.
I love the colors that you used and the way you made a pocket on the card. So pretty! :)

A while back you had commented on my blog about the book "Something Borrowed", and how you had gotten it for only 25 cents! :)
I was just curious if you had started reading the following book? "Something Blue"?
I am actullay reading it now, and so far, I like it.
I don't always get much time to read, but I do, when I can.
Thanks for the inspiration with this card and using that stamp set! Hope you have a fantastic week! :)

  5. Great use of the tab in the top corner of the angled panel. Darling card. You are on a roll with these Verve sketches :D

Kids have their school carnival this Friday so not sure if I'll be able to catch any of the release party :( Will have to wait and see what time we get home.

  6. You are definitely on a roll, girl!!! Great card. You know I have no clue where the phrase "you're dandy" came from, it'd be interesting to find out :)
