Like a Kid in a Candy Shop

My new craft room is pretty much the same thing.  And my favourite thing right now is my jars of scrap ribbon and buttons.  Just looking at all those colourful goodies gives me plenty of inspiration.  I need all the inspiration I can get right now because I need to get those Christmas cards done!  I'm half way there.

My desk looks out the window facing the cul-de-sac where my kids spend the majority of the time playing with the neighbourhood kids.  That will probably be less of the time now that the weather's getting chillier and wetter.  We're expecting snow later this week.  I don't enjoy the roads but appreciate that snow gets rid of the gloominess.

Anyhow I also have an extra table for a few friends  or kids to spend some crafty time with me. The tables also handy to spread out my materials and get creative.  Now I just need a handy peg board to pin up some challenges.

  1. OH, be still my beating heart!!! Love those lovely colours all lined up on the shelves....what a great space for creating and soooooo much of it!!! Can't wait for a play date :)

  2. Those jars are such a wonderful pop of colour! Love your baskets for the ribbon too. Looks like a fabulous crafting place :)

  3. Gorgeous! I'd find inspiration all over there, too...what a fantastic room! That shelf looks perfect and an extra table sounds just right for when I visit =)

  4. What a fun craft room, Laural!
I really love your colorful little jars. SO cute! :)

  5. You are ready to go! Maybe you just need to start a craft organization business ;>)

  6. Looks fantastic, Laural-Lee! Can't wait to see more of your creations! Hope all is well!
